Tele-snaps Tele-snaps  (often known as  Telesnaps ) were off-screen photographs of  British   television  broadcasts, taken and sold commercially by  John Cura  (born Alberto Giovanni Cura in Clapham ,  South London ,  England ; 9 April 1902 - 21 April 1969). From 1947 until 1968, Cura ran a business selling the 250,000-plus tele-snaps he took. The photographs were snapped in half of a normal frame of  35mm film , at an exposure of 1/25th of a second. Generally around 70-80 tele-snaps were taken of each programme. They were mostly purchased by  actors  and directors  to use as records and examples of their work before the advent of  videocassette recorders . For many early programmes tele-snaps are the  only surviving record  of their appearance. Kite aerial photography Kite aerial photography (KAP) is a hobby and a type of photography. A camera is lifted using a kite and is triggered either remotely or automatically to take aerial photographs. The camera rigs can range from the extremely simple, consisting of a trigger mechanism with a disposable camera, to complex apparatus using radio control and digital cameras. On some occasions it can be a good alternative to other forms of aerial photography.

Street photography is a type of documentary photography that features subjects in candid situations within public places such as streets , parks , beaches , malls , political conventions and other settings.

A candid photograph is a photograph that is made either without the subject's knowledge or without their explicit permission, hence they are captured unposed. Context Candid photography catches moments of life from immersion in it. Candid photography is opposed to the stalking involved in animal photography, sports photography or photographic journalistic intrusion, which all have a focus on getting distant objects photographed, e.g. by using telephoto lenses. Candid photography's setup includes a photographer who is there with the "subjects" to be photographed, close, and not hidden. People photographed on candid shots either ignore or accept the close presence of the photographer's camera without posing.

Glamour photography is a genre of photography whereby the subjects, usually female, are portrayed in a romantic or sexually alluring way. The subjects may be fully clothed or seminude, but glamour photography stops short of deliberately arousing the viewer and being pornographic photography .

Nature photography Nature photography refers to a wide range of photography taken outdoors and devoted to displaying natural elements such as landscapes, wildlife, plants, and close-ups of natural scenes and textures. Nature photography tends to put a stronger emphasis on the aesthetic value of the photo than other photography genres, such as photojournalism and documentary photography.
